AICUF enables students to develop an awareness and analysis of the situation in the society. To cultivate a deep and genuine concern for the oppressed and marginalized and commit ourselves to making society grow. The rural exposure camp was organized for all the AICUF members at Manvi, Raichur distirct, Karnataka from 3rd to 7th December 2019. The AICUF students reached there in the early house of the morning when the fog was down and the dew still fresh on the leaves, we could see the villagers toiling on their fields and harvesting crops for their livelihood. The people there have gone through droughts, floods and many other things that make living conditions very bitter. The only thing that keep these people alive is hope, hope is the very aspect instilled in them that has made them go through the past four years of drought. The reason students go to places like these is to make a difference in the lives of the people. The students had visited some of the villagers houses and they were so welcoming and some of them even offered us dinner. Though there was a little bit of discrimination between the villagers it is slowly fading away as the next generation is getting a good education. All human beings without discrimination by caste, creed or religion should not be denied the basic necessities of life. They might not be as fortunate as us to be brought up in a town or a city, but it is our duty as fellow human beings to help those in need and give the villagers a hope for a better future and most importantly give the love of a person who has never let us down in our time of need, God. We are all equals in his eyes.
