Joseph's another word for family that taught me how valuable everything is. A place where I found brothers, teachers, memories, laughter, joy. It was something beautiful that will always be a part of me. Something that will always put a smile on my face when I think back to that time. I just wish that at least one more time, I could go back to that time and sit there on my second bench with my friends, but nonetheless, these memories shall always be mine. I miss Joseph's. I was a part of the electronics stream of F section. Currently, I am into engineering at the HKBK College of Engineering.
2 years In Josephs has been a wonderful journey In an Important phase of my life! The first thing that comes into my mind when I hear the Name Josephs Is discipline. When a student graduates from Josephs, the Institution makes sure that the student Is well motivated and well trained to face the tough world! I had great time with the Joseph a faculty! Excellent teaching ,worth spending two years In this fabulous Institution...Those corridor samosas ,paneer rolls, those pity disputes ,labs ,practical examinations, haircuts, beards...All these memories might worth my entire life.!!! Utilizing the 2 years here might make you, one of the finest persons in the world! I'm proud of my college! Once Josephites, always Josephites! Bleed Josephs! As of now, I'm planning to do my engineering. I am from class 2E Batch of 2016.
Well, it was a wonderful journey In SJPUC. I would say it was the best two years of my life. SJPUC totally took me to a different world from schooling. It taught me a lot of things which would be useful for my better life. It's a place where I learnt public speaking, acting, stress management, discipline and a lot more. I was also lucky enough to win college elections and be a part of the student council with the grace of God. I just can't pull off without mentioning about the faculty over there, they r just amazing. I would say SJPUC is "the best Institution" for anyone to do there higher education. Whatever I am today is just because of god who put me into that Institution. At present I am pursuing my graduation In SJCC. I am doing my bcom (9-1 batch).
After Finishing my tenth I wanted to join Josephs n luckily got a seat there ...and It was not how I expected It to be Initially 100 boys In a class and It took time to get adjusted, those morning prayers was good ...and uniform I didn't wanted that though ...and classes was too good ..2 teachers for a subject that was awesome and teaching was also good....strict teachers along with some friendly teachers, and games time was also good... 2013 2015 batch. I am doing engineering In Computer science at Oxford College of Engineering.
It's a pleasure for me to tell u about my experience In Joseph's, myself Kiran Rajan G joined St. Joseph's in 2013. In the beginning I was a little worried about joining this college but once I became close to all my classmates I never wanted to leave this Institution. I was in 2A biology section roll no. 13P117. Overall St. Joseph's is a life time never forgettable experience filled with fun, love, caring, friendly, a little scolding and everything. Now I am doing my engineering In BIO MEDICAL In BIET College, Davangere. Joseph's has thought me a lot Let It be regarding studies or any other co curricular activities Before joining there I was a little scared to face problems In all aspects but now It Is only because of my friends and the teachers In that college that I am able to face problems and find a solution for them I think that the change In me from what I was and to I am because of Joseph's It Is not only me but all the Josephites feel the same Proud to be a JOSEPHITES
My stay in Joseph's was memorable the orientation program held on the first day of the college was meaningful. The lecturers were kind enough and taught us well cleared the doubt then and there itself and they were more like friend than the teacher. The lab was well equipped and the lab in charge was also good to everyone. My classmates were super and the club activities and the events arranged were super. The Andromeda and Equinox brought everyone under one platform to showcase their talent. I also took part in the fest organized by other college and also won the competition. I remember the college throughout my life which thought me some values through the HRD classes and others. Now I am doing my BE In computer science and engineering at Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology. I belong to 2013 to 2015 batch and I was in 2D section.
My journey as a Josephite began In SJPUC. I belonged to the batch of 2013-15, this place Is just immensely amazing where everyone and I was welcomed warm heatedly by the teacher's. This was the place where if you talk to teachers they would make you feel like home and help you out with any difficulties just like any parent would do. My favorite Department was the English department where no matter what whoever enters that place would definitely come out with a smile at their face. 2 years In SJPUC just went away in a blink the labs, the library were just so well equipped and the lab attenders who would also be there to help us out In difficulties or problems. SJPUC taught me what and who a Josephite is as a person and as character. I represented SJPUC football team in many competitions also represented the college in national camps of NCC. Thanks to my amazing teacher's and the attender's for those never forgetful 2 years at SJPUC. Now I'm pursuing BBA in St. Josephs College of commerce in 2nd year as of now, batch of 2015.
Hi, my name is NITHIN KUMAR.J batch of 2013-2015 and class 2 'D' where unity had reached to its peak. Now I'm studying architecture at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. I'm here to share how my life was In JOSEPH'S, an unforgettable memory which I would never forget in my entire life. To me the college experience is experiencing everything college life has to offer. That means going out, meeting new people, sports, studying hard, joining clubs and a fraternity/sorority, attempting to do mistakes to get noted and many more... But most importantly the college experience is experimenting and experiencing new things. My first day In JOSEPH'S has been the day I made friends a lot of friends and who are still my friends. Teachers In this college is the best and I'm blessed to have such teachers. They guide and ignite us to the right path by their Inspiring motivational speech which I still can't forget and they are the reason for who I am now. I was good at sketching, that gave me an opportunity to attend fests. JOSEPHITES ARE THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO FESTS. My first year was fun because that was the time I learnt many new things like leadership qualities, discipline, following norms, uniform, wearing ID cards regularly, late seal In calendar, neat haircut, apology letter, attendance, bunking, etc.. Second year was a bit serious as everyone says It's the turning point of our lives, and I tried my best to enjoy to the extent till I reached my satisfaction. Teachers stood by our side, taught and would clear all our doubts and would be with us when we were In need of them. I captained college KHO-KHO team and was awarded as the best player which made me feel proud and happy. "NEUROTRON" an Intra-college competition which was organized and hosted by my class Is now the official fest In college makes me feel grateful because this was achieved not as an Individual but as one whole class stood together and made It happen. I'm thankful to all the teachers, non-teaching staffs, and my fellow JOSEPHITES from the bottom of my heart for making my life In SJPUC a memorable journey. All these make me nostalgic sometimes. I still miss those days which I can't get back. "ONCE A JOSEPHITE ALWAYS A JOSEPHITE" AND I'M PROUD TO BE A JOSEPHITE.....!!!!!
I'm Benhanan Theodore, I did my PCMC in St.Joseph's and I graduated from SJPUC in 2015!! Well to write about my experience In SJPUC would literally run into pages!! On the 1st day of college I was really nervous and scared not knowing as to how it would be, and listening to the rules set by the college made it even worse. Well as the days went by college became really interesting. The friends, the way the teacher's taught and mingled with the students made me feel at home. Very soon I got a lot of opportunities to use my talents and the teachers were very encouraging and often appreciated me even for the small things I did. Getting Into college before8:30 and forcibly asked to shave my beard all these are memories which cannot be forgotten!! I not only learnt what was there in the syllabus but I also learnt a lot about life and lot about being a good human being!! St.Joseph's really transformed my life!! I am studying mechanical engineering in Oxford College of engineering!! And not a single day goes by without thinking about my days In SJPUC!! And as the motto says "FAITH AND TOIL" I learned to have faith and also work hard in the things I do to become a good human being!
2012-2014 Batch PCMB A Section - 12P1163 Best Outgoing Student, Science Stream, 2014 Currently, II Year MBBS, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute Two years of character building of the highest order; two years of holistic, wholesome learning; two years of being empowered to serve others - this is what I have experienced as a Josephite. When I entered the portals of this hallowed institution, I was reasonably anxious about how the journey ahead would be. But, with amazing, humble role-models being my teachers, I was soon assured that my two years would be in safe hands. It is their guidance that molded me and made me perform extremely well in PUC and CET examinations. Their pivotal role in the wholesome building of every student is what makes a Josephite a cut above the rest. I would ever remain grateful to them. Also, with a friendly atmosphere, great stress on co-curricular activities and personality development, this college provided me with opportunities to discover new talents in me. I had the invaluable opportunity to be the Literary Club President, representing SJPUC in various inter college events and winning prizes, which helped me to be even more confident in facing challenges. This college has taken effort to imbibe the timeless values of "Faith and Toil" in every student. Gracias, SJPUC!
Honestly, joining St. Joseph's was one of the best decisions of my life. Here they don't just teach the syllabus but also educate you to be a good human being in the society. They teach you moral values and etiquettes prepare for outside world. Also the name Josephite comes with a few perks too which you will know when you be a Josephite. I'm studying Computer Science engineering in Reva University. I belonged to the 2G section of 2013 batch.
Choosing St. Joseph's P.U. College has to be one of the best and most important things in my life. I cannot thank God enough for making me a 'JOSEPHITE'. This prestigious institution has molded me into the person I am today, focusing not only on my academics, but far beyond that by providing me with a lot of exposure in the field of music and co-curricular activities. The teachers are more like your friends and it's just one big family that I was part of. I might be out of this institution, but the values and memories from this institution can never be taken away. Currently I'm pursuing Bachelor's degree in mathematics, electronics and computer science at St. Joseph's college of arts and 1sciences. I was a student of St. Joseph's pre university college in the class PCMC 'G' section from the year 2013 to 2015
First, my past experiences in college have given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. I had chosen electronics with no prior knowledge of what was actually thought in it. There were many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my craft as a result of my time in college, which I am truly thankful for. For example, the HRD sessions at college has taught me many time managing skills and rules that I was unaware even existed, and would still be unaware of had it not been a part of my experience in Joseph's. Because of this, I realized I still had a lot to learn despite what I thought and also gave me more confidence in my area. In addition to learning practical skills, being in college had also taught me a lot about behavior and intellectual skills. To mention, I have had the privilege of learning about religions (Christianity) that I had no much knowledge of beforehand. This was something different than what can be learnt in colleges. This has made my time in college much more enriching and worthwhile. Currently I am doing my undergraduate B.E in the field of Electronics and communication which is a continuation of the course that I did in my PU. I was a student of PCME class 1E and 2E in St. Joseph's.
The days at Joseph's where one of the most valuable and memorable time of my life... What I am now is all that Joseph's has given me. From the infrastructure to the entertainment, everything is perfect and the faculty in Joseph's can't be seen elsewhere. All loving teachers, friends, library and canteen fun the most enjoyed part of my life was spent with Joseph's. Now I am pursuing BSc in biotechnology in St. Joseph College. I was in 2013- 2015 batch in class PCMB "C" section.
2A (PCMB) Batch: 2013-2015 Reg. No: 13P1170 EXPERIENCE: College life is very important part of every individual's life. We all are at a certain threshold after passing out from School. That's when we have to take a very important decision that is regarding one's career and the Institution which can help an individual in making his dream come true. For I, was so fortunate that I got into Bangalore's reputed institution "St. Joseph's Pre-University College (SJPUC)" located in the central part of city which offers a wide range of combinations helping every student to sharp their skills in their field of Choice. As I was interested to be a medical professional, I chose PCMB combination. Speaking to my 2 years of heavenly experience, it gives me a pleasure. First, I would like to call myself a proud JOSEPHITE. The priceless and friendly teachers, the fellow mates and the best environment made my college life memorable. SJPUC has given me a chance to express my hidden talents in my field of choice, this reputed institution offers variety of Clubs and Associations to sharpen our skills. It conducted a lot of events which made me better-rounded as a person. Personally though, I consider my time spent in SJPUC as my most valuable experience. I cannot forget the teachers, who were like my friends/parents. Coming out of SJPUC, I believe it has the best teachers in all the departments who contribute a lot in elevating us. I remember the first week of college, a new place, new environment and new people around. I was quite nervous worrying about the coming 2 years which were to decide my future, one day I fortunately met English department teachers who changed my nervousness to excitement and made my college days awesome. Coming into academics, teachers from all the departments treat every student equally and help them in understanding all the topics in a better way. I couldn't have scored distinction in my 12th without them. I'm thankful to all my teachers. SJPUC is the most disciplined institution with the well organized academic schedule. In addition to it, college has also taught me a lot about sciences and history and offered us an inter-college fest called EQUINOX to showcase our talents in the city. Truly SJPUC made my time more enriching and worthwhile. These experiences are truly irreplaceable. When I shared the same experience to my friends from Africa and Iran, they congratulated me for having such a nice experience. If I could go back in time and speak to my younger self about this, the younger version of me would certainly have been surprised by what my experience is now. Presently, I'm doing my doctorate in Pharmacy (PHARM.D) which I always wanted to at Dayananda Sagar University. It's a 6 year course (5 year study+1 year internship). I'm thankful for what I'm now.
I had the two most fun filled years of my academic life in SJPUC. The warmth, the feeling of oneness and the diversity of this institute are probably its highlights for me. SJPUC is the place where adolescent boys go on to become responsible men. It was the same with me. I entered college with a lot of dreams and a set of skills, both which were beautifully molded and crafted in the two years here. I did my PCMB from the D section here. I am currently pursuing my BE degree in Electronics and communication at BMS college of engineering. There is no doubt, that every student who is a part of SJPUC is also a part of a legacy.
On my first day in Josephs "Once a JOSEPHITE Always a JOSEPHITE" was just a phrase. But now I understand the strong message behind it. This is because once u are a josephite, josephs keeps you and the institution bonded for your entire life. I belong to the batch 2014-2016, 'H' section. The discipline in josephs has made me evolve into a beautiful person in the society. Starting from its academics, sports, culturals and all other activities...josephs is always top in it. The decorum in josephs made me feel a divine atmosphere around me. The opportunities for all talents are provided to the maximum extent. The support by the lecturers and principal are unbelievable. I am presently doing my B.E. at "Dayananda Sagar Academy Of Technology And Management" and pursuing "Information Science And Technology" as my Course. Thanks to SJPUC for making my 2 years of PU life so beautiful.
"JOSEPH'S" this is where it all started for me. The very walls of the building scream of wonders around me and the course of 1000's of students. I still don't know how 2 years have just gone before me. In this journey 2 years, everyday has been a new experience to me. Here at St. Joseph's I have grown so close to each other (friends, teachers) that the college seems like a second home to me. About my experience, I remember the month of June 2014, when I entered this college as a Josephite, being uncertain about college life. But soon I realized that this is home away from home. I have also earned life time memories in this college - the morning prayers, running to the canteen during breaks, our wonderful lecturers with their standard lives - both strict and humorous , experimenting with chemicals in the lab, giving genuine reasons for coming late to class, not bringing ID card, getting caught for "innocently talking" about the subject etc. I treasure those hours and days that I spent in class listening to my teachers who were the best, participating in interclass, inter-collegiate and club activities and the thrill and energy spent to win them. It is because of St. Joseph's where I have improved my speaking skills by delivering speeches and also giving seminars in class. I am thankful for the college for preparing me and giving me opportunity to take part in various events and Fests like "Neurotron and Brain it", Equinox, Andromeda, Genesis, and other college fests and winning in them. Due to these, I have gained Leadership qualities, Organizing skills and skill to handle responsibilities and of course to manage my studies as well as to score good marks. I really appreciate the service minded approach that St. Joseph's maintains in this commercial era. The mid-day meals, book bank facilities, scholarships etc... All are proof for that fact that St. Joseph's is willing to do little extra to aid the students progress. I would like to thank all my teachers here and the college for their patience with me and the numerous opportunities. These years in St. Joseph's has given me best education, learning and experience. Finally, the name "JOSEPHITE" is still in me and makes proud, because in my present college, the students who don't know me calls me by the name "Hey Josephite ". And that's a Josephite life! Ashin Louis (2014-2016 Batch) Class 2 - A
On my first day at SJPUC, my teacher said "you'll miss this college once you go out of here". As I sit to write about my experience at Joseph's, I realize how profoundly true his words were. SJPUC is not merely a part of my educational journey; it's an experience that has gone far beyond to become a part of me. Uniqueness in its students and rightful approach to channelize it makes SJPUC an epitome in the field of holistic development. Despite the diversification among fellow students and their cultural practices, Joseph's succeeds at bringing a feeling of 'oneness' and 'equality' in me. From a highly nervous boy on my first day to the much-more confident person-a person unafraid of facing changes that I've become, I owe it all to SJPUC. The bookish knowledge that I learnt might fade away but the memories and lessons learnt outside the book will stay with until my time lasts. It would be an understand statement to call 'SJPUC' a mere college-it's a family of JOSEPHITES that teach the world a lesson of "unity amidst diversity", an ever-giving mother that has given the world many precious gems and would continue to. As the motto of SJPUC rightfully says "empowering youth to serve others", with an emphasis on self-discipline and identification of one's true self, the institution has abided in me a sense of mutual respect, humbleness and kindness alongside self-confidence. The tag of a JOSEPHITE shall always remain alongside my name. I say this and I remain.
My time in SJPUC has been extremely remarkable and it is something I will never forget in my life. SJPUC is a place where students are turned into gentlemen. Josephs has the most friendly teachers who make learning fun and interesting. The friend's that I made in joseph's are the friends that I made for life, the friends that I can count on. College was especially good because of the positive and friendly atmosphere of the college campus. The most important thing that josephs have taught me is to respect time and be punctual. My teachers have taught me to believe in myself. I would like to tell each and every josephite to go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined and never regret the decisions you make in life. Today when I go out, people see me as a josephite and not as a random person. I miss the fun that we used to have in college. Joseph's has given me so many memories to look back on. The 2 years in Joseph's was the best phase of my life. I feel proud to be a JOSEPHITE...."ONCE A JOSEPHITE, ALWAYS A JOSEPHITE"
Myself Abhilash. I was in F section (2014-2016) Right now I'm doing bachelor of computer applications(BCA) in St.joseph's college. For every student it's a dream to join Sjpuc after completion of there schooling. Yes even mine too and I got it. It was a wonderful two years of experience in Sjpuc. Sjpuc laid a platform to understand and prove myself and it has changed my entire outlook on and attitude toward life. Sjpuc allows me to have fun while work hard towards my goal. Attending fest and competitions it helps me to showcase my talent. In the end, sjpuc to me isn't just a place where I have to work hard and study all the time to get my certificate to help me get a job and in turn pay off my college bills. Now having spent a two year as a college student. I understand that when i look back sjpuc had a great impact in my life which helps me to grow as independently and responsible person. and it has given a wonderful friends, teachers and memorable moments with them which I cannot forget in my life. Its a great pleasure to be a part of josephite family.
Joseph's a place that's so close to my heart...Being a Josephite was so special... Joseph's has some magic which no other place can offer...The crowd in Joseph's is by far the best I would say because it has a balance of people from different backgrounds & cultures coming together & uniting as ONE...My time in Joseph's, I was very average in studies... I was actually very notorious. I belonged to Class 2 'D' & my reg. no. was 13P1790. Joseph's has & will always have a very special place in my heart Thank you for making me a better person Joseph's...All I am today is because of you Proud to be a Josephite. Josephite Then Now Forever
The word 'josephs' or 'josephite' brings in me a kind of excitement which can't be expressed in any emotion or any emoticon. In the beginning when I had completed my 10th standard and was in search of a college, the only thing in mind was to get into josephs and being a lucky one got a seat in PCME which was also my choice . As I was not from a well reputed school's in Bangalore, the culture and the environment of joseph's was completely new .Joseph's is a place which you can call as a market of opportunities .The one who fails to make a wise use of these opportunities is the biggest loser . The entire atmosphere in joseph's transforms a student's life from a no man to a man filled with loads and loads of talent .Yes, I do agree that all other college have good teaching faculty and good infrastructure but the respect we receive in and out of joseph's is the one which expels joseph's from any other college .June 9th 2013 was my first day in college and I was allotted my class room that is 1F room no 207 and then the journey began .The lecturers in joseph's made me feel so comfortable that I felt I was in my home safe and peace .The amazing lessons my lecturers taught me , the way they build a kind of relationship among the students and mainly the way they inspire and also motivate students is one of a kind which I think can't be found in any other institution .Last but not the least my extraordinary friends which I made here are the ones to be cherished for a lifetime . Presently I am pursuing my mechanical engineering in Dayananda Sagar University and again the level of coaching I received in joseph's made me get 85%in my board exams .I would also like to thank all the sports department as they have helped me to build my sportsmanship spirit as they gave me an opportunity to be a part of the college throw ball team. Though I can't express Josephs in a single statement I would like to say that, 'Today the person I am only because of the lecturers, friends and mainly the whole family of josephites. Lastly neither can I thank Josephs in words nor through any kind of momentum and moreover I cannot thank joseph's at all as the amount of transformation it has brought in me is enormous. And I hope I live up to the saying, 'ONCE A JOSEPHITE ALWAYS A JOSEPHITE'
Greetings St. Joseph's PUC my 'Alma Mater' completely rejuvenated me as to how I was and how I approach my attitude towards life currently. Having pursued my 2 years of PUC in this glorious institution, I have inculcated quite a lot of ethics and humble values as we say more than knowledge of the books which would just help me possess material possessions. Joseph's to me was a home, filled with the love of our beloved teachers and Principal Fr. Francis Noronha. My opinions were never criticized. It didn't take me much time to recognize myself as a part of this institution. The josephites are nothing but family who fill this wonderful institution with meaning and Joy. Having being part of our college fests has surely helped me to take up responsibility. Giving my teachers all the respect they need, it is because of them that i have excelled in my studies and was able to pass out of Joseph's in an excelled manner both academically as well as an Aicufer. Joseph's has made me realize that i do not grow as an individual when things are easy but I grow when I learn to face challenges. To whatever ends I pursue, my gratitude always lies in repose to my Alma mater. Thank you. I studied in class 2K, batch of 2014-2016 I am currently pursuing my Chartered accountancy (Intermediate)
My experience in Joseph's is one of the best things to happen in my life. I learnt a lot of things, gained knowledge on lot of things from that place. Joseph's provided more opportunities to learn better things. The way the teachers execute to the students was good. This place was the best atmosphere show our talent and what are we capable off. One of the best bunch of friends where we used to have lot of fun and enjoyment. After all being a part of Joseph's family is an all time achievement. BATCH: 2013-2015 SECTION: '2D' Now currently I'm doing Information Science & Engineering at Atria Institute of Technology Bengaluru.
