Empowering Youth to Serve Others
An online webinar on women empowerment was conducted on the 20th May 2024 by 3 Karnataka Battalion NCC, in association with Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru.
The webinar aimed to provide insights into the Nai Roshni Scheme, which is a government initiative aimed at empowering minority women through knowledge, tools and techniques for leadership development and social inclusion. Speakers of this Webinar were Ms. Yamuna Srinidhi, an acclaimed Bharatanatyam Dancer; Dr Lyola Thomas, Program Coordinator, Dept English, Kristu Jayanti College; Ms Ramya, Dept of History, Kristu Jayanti College. Col Shashidhar B Malagi emphasized on the role of NCC in empowering women. 33 cadets of SJPUC attended the webinar online.
