World Environment Day was celebrated at SJPUC with a meaningful prayer and poster making competition on the topic "Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience" by Eco-club. Students from first and second PUC participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. Land restoration is crucial for combating desertification, as it involves rehabilitating degraded land to restore its productivity and biodiversity, ensuring sustainable use for future generations. Participating in this poster making competition facilitated students to creatively showcase solutions and strategies that promote land restoration and resilience against desertification and drought, raising awareness and inspiring action within our community.
