Empowering Youth to Serve Others
The department of Physics organized a field trip with a view to rekindle
scientific temperaments in the young minds of our students, and took around
115 students of II PUC science sections to visit the UR Satellite Centre (ISRO)
on 5 July 2024.
The staff at URSC briefed the students about the purpose of ISRO in the pursuit
of all space based applications such as research and communication, about
Aditya L1 the solar mission and their upcoming project Chandrayaan 4. The
museum comprises a display of satellite systems and posters on satellite
technology. The video screened showed the launching of Chandrayaan 3. This
visit had a good impact on the students and they were inspired to take up a
career in the challenging and exciting area of space research.
