Empowering Youth to Serve Others
JESCOL - 1 themed, Towards Proactive Partnerships for BJES Jesuit Collaborators, was held on August 2 and 3 at St Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM), Bengaluru. The event aimed to enhance collaboration among Jesuit institutions and deepen understanding of Jesuit values. Day 1 featured an inauguration, sessions on Jesuit history, legacy, and leadership and governance, along with a panel discussion on collaboration experiences with Jesuit Institutions. Day 2 included discussions on collaboration and overview of KAR ProvinceKPAP, the Jesuits and option for the poor, characteristics of Jesuit education, insights on need for interreligious dialogue, peace initiatives, and social action followed by the closing session. The program successfully strengthened collaborations among Jesuit educators and the institutions.
