    Department of Biology organized a talk on the topic "adolescent brain - work in progress" on the 21 August 2025 for all the second puc students. The guest speaker was Fr. Sujay, SJ from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. The speaker conducted the session explaining the structure of the brain and the way the brain continues to grow and cause changes in an adolescent's thinking capacity, response to stimuli and the behavioral changes it can lead to. The speaker also highlighted about addiction and its effect on the brain and the parallel ways in which an individual can adapt to recovery. Overall the session was very thought provoking and informative.
