    The department of Biology organised a certificate program on Basic Life Support in collaboration with Manipal Hospitals on the 30 August 2025. The students of 2PUC participated in this hands-on session. Students were introduced to the importance of immediate response in life-threatening situations. They learned about basic first-aid measures, the steps to assess a patient's condition, and the role of timely medical intervention. A special focus was given to Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), where each student had the opportunity to practice the procedure under the guidance of trained instructors using mannequins as models. This was a very enriching experience for students as it gave them an opportunity in equipping themselves with a medical emergency. After the program the students were awarded with certificates.
