  • ORIENTATION PROGRAM IN MATHEMATICS

    The Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph's Pre-University College, in association with the Pre-University Board (Bengaluru North), organized an Orientation Program for Mathematics Lecturers on 18 September 2025 at Faber Hall. The event aimed to familiarize lecturers with the revised PU syllabus, exam patterns, and innovative teaching methodologies, including the use of AI tools. Over 150 lecturers from government and private PU colleges across Bengaluru North attended. The program was inaugurated by Shri Palaksha T, Deputy Director of the Department of School Education (Pre-University), who emphasized the importance of standardization and quality in teaching. Shri Krishna Chaitanya from YAK Academy, Turuvekere, conducted a session on enhancing classroom engagement through real-life applications of mathematical concepts. A PU Board resource person led an online session on integrating AI tools into teaching practices. Shri Raju SK from GPU College for Girls, Hoskote, provided a detailed overview of the revised syllabus, blueprint, question patterns, and mark distribution. The sessions were well-received, offering practical insights and supporting professional development.
